Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-445 was awarded to the Carl Boland: r
and Sons Company for the Removal of Residence, Grading, S.ed-
ing, Sodding and Installation of Sewer, Water Fence Backs ops
and Bituminous Surfaces for a Playground Area located at Oxford
and Rondo, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it has
been found necessary to make some changes in grading which re-
quire extra topsoil and extra sod, and negotiations have een
conducted with the contractor who agrees to make the chan§es
in the grade and furnish and install the extra topsoil and sod
for the sum of $380.00 which is a reasonable amount for t e
labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submi ted
to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $380 00
to contract number G-445 to cover the above described wor .
