Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the Mary Anna Slawi
Trust for a permit to establish and operate a dry cleaning pick
up station on the property just to the south of the southeast
corner of Cleveland and Marshall. This property is described a:
lot 7 - block 6 - Merriam Park 2nd Addition. The zoning is
"commercial."
This property is located immediately to the rear of a commercial
store development which fronts on Marshall Ave. The property w:s
formerly used for a filling station. The small filling station
building located thereon is presently vacant.
The property has a frontage of 52' on Cleveland and extends to
depth of 50' . The applicants propose to install and operate a
dry cleaning pick-up station in accordance with the applicant's
plans filed April 18 which have been approved by the Traffic
Engineer's office.
In consideration of the commercial character of the surrounding
area, the Zoning Board finds no objection to this small facilit
at this point. In consideration of these factors, the Zon ng
Board recommends that this permit be granted. /
