RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $694.00 be
allowed under contract number G-662 between the City
of Saint Paul and the M. E. Souther Construction Compan
said contract for Remodeling of the Fifth Floor of the
City Hall and Court House, and said extra to cover the
installation of four additional Dual Room thermostats,
moving of an access panel, and the installation of
additional conduit for telephone and electrical service,
this work having been requested by the Commissioner of
Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings, and agreement
made with the Contractor, and a memorandum of said agree-
ment having been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned
by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-662 was awarded to the M. E. Souther C n-
struction Company for Remodeling of the Fifth Floor of the ( ity
Hall and Court House, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it ha been
found necessary to have installed four additional Dual Room thermo-
stats, to move an access panel, and to have installed additional
conduit for telephone and electrical service, and negotiati ns
have been conducted with the Contractor who agrees to do th' s
additional work for the sum of $694.00 which is a reasonabl
amount for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submitted to the
Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $694.00 to contract
number G-662 to cover the above described work.
