RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for traffic
control signals at Burns Avenue and Trunk Highway No. 61,
Smith Avenue and Ninth Street, Cedar Street" and Kellogg Boule-
vard, West Seventh Street and West Maynard Drive, for intercon-
nectton of traffic signals on Marshall Avenue, and for addi-
tional signals on the center island on University Avenue, as
submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works are hereby ap-
proved, and the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to ad-
vertise for bids thereon in the manner provided in and by the
charter. Each lump sus bid shall be accompanied by a state-
ment of the total cost of each of the four new signal installa-
tions, of the Marshall Avenue interconnection, and of each
University Avenue intersection. The sum of the cost statements
shall equal the lump sum bid. The lump sum bid shall be the
basis for consideration of award of contract.
