In the Matter of constructing a monolithic concrete sidewalk on both sides of
Edgcumbe Road from St. Paul Avenue to Seventh Street,
under Preliminary Order 179630 approved September 14, 1956
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is construct a
monolithic concrete sidewalk on both sides of Edgcumbe Road from St. Paul Avenue to
Seventh Street, except where good and sufficient sidewalk now exists,
with no alternatives and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 0.50 per sq. ft. for 4" Monolithic
(Excavation, fi'il, cone. removed, root cutting, drive crossings etc. at e ra cost)
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the____?_8t4 day of
May , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber o the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance gi'e notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time :1.d place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement R and aI ,tal cost thereof as estimated.
