RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and
material (except the 20" cast iron pipe, which will be furnished by the Water Department)
to install approximately 72 linear feet of 36 inch reinforced concrete casing pipe and
80 linear feet of 20 inch cast iron pipe, mechanical joint, class 150, under and across
the right•of-'way of the Chicago and North Western Railway System approximately 90 feet •
north of the north property line of Richmond Street on James Street, St. Paul, Minnesota,
to O'BRIEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. n accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6258 of said O'Brien Construction Company, Inc.
for the contract price of $4968.00, such bid being the lowest and said O'Brien Construction
Company, Inc. being the lowest reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel
E be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
S t.Paul.
