PAUL CO NtIL N ��, � • I FFICE OF THE CITY CLERK • C U CIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE• • -�•4.a DATE C=_Ille N.I , Blf 7441:07 rot sw4A Vii, WHEREAS, by City of Saint Paul Ordinance No. 10369, passed by tie Council and approved by the Mayor September 21, 1954, and ratified and approved b a majority of the electors of said City at the election held November 2, 1954, the C ty of Saint Paul was authorized to issue and sell negotiable bonds of said City in th sum of Five Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,500,000.00) par value for the purpose of extending, enlarging, improving and bettering the Water Works System o ,ed and operated by said City; and WHEREAS, heretofore, the aggregate of Three Million, Five Hundr-d Thousand Dollars ($3,500,000.00) par value of such authorized bonds were duly isso .. and sold by the City of Saint Paul for the purpose of its acquisition of the funds necessary for its accomplishment of the first and second portions of the aforesaid 4-tending, enlarging, improving and bettering of its said Water Works System, under id as authorized by said Ordinance No. 10369 and the Resolutions of the Council of the City of Saint Paul pursuant thereto, C. F. No. 172163, approved March 3, 955, C. F. No. 172824, approved April 22, 1955, ' C. F. No. 17694, approved s2 , 19561 and C. F. No. 176662, approved February 2, 1956; and WHEREAS, it has been made to appear by the report and resolutiol of the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul and it is found t :t at this time it is necessary that an additional One Million Dollars (41,000,000.0!6) par value of such authorized bonds be issued and sold, as authorized by said rrdinance No. 10369 and by the Resolution of the Council of said City, C. F. Both principal and interest of this bond are payable in lawful mo of the United States of America at the office of the Commissioner of Finance, i the City of Saint Paul, or at the Fiscal Agency of the City of Saint Paul, in the City of New York, State of New York, at the option of the holder; and for the pr mpt payment of this bond, both principal and interest, at maturity, the faith and cr dit of the City of Saint Paul are hereby irrevocably pledged. This bond is one of a series amounting in the aggregate to the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) issued by the City of Saint Paul forjthe purpose of extending, enlarging, improving, and bettering the waterworks system weed and operated by the City of Saint Paul. F. No. 151937, passed and approved March 15, 1957, and under authority of and in all respects in full compliance with Section 217 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul and such other sections thereof as may be applicable thereto, and Chapter 475, Minnesota Statutes 1953, as amended It is hereby certified and recited that all things, acts and c nditions required by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Minnesota and the barter of said City to happen and be done and performed precedent to and in the is ce of this bond, have happened and been done and performed in regular and due ran and time as required by law and that the total indebtedness of said City, in lulling this bond, does not exceed any constitutional , statutory or charter limitations.
