RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing for the Department of Public
Works, Bureau of Sanitation, F.O.B. Vendor's Factory at Chicago, Illin is, Two
1957 Model Diamond T 730CPW Cab*over*engine Truck Chassis, minimum G.V W. 32,000#
(For Street Flusher Units) 01, to RIM MOTOR COMPANY in accordance with ity
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6272 of said Rihm
Motor Company, at a cost of $14,469.64, less allowance for 1939 GMC Flusher
Model AC800, City No. 103 and 1946 GMC Flusher Model AC704, City No. 107 » $2800.00,
making total amount of contract $11,669.64, such bid being the lowest meeting_
specifications and said Rihm Motor Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
