their chief auditor,we are satisfied and approve the transfers
as outlined.

Gentlemen;
The Ramsey County Welfare Board at its regular macti
held Tuesday, March 12, 1957, passed a resolution requesting t
City Council and the Board of County Commissioners to approve the
transfer of funds within the department's budget to close out e
Tear 1956, Some of these transfers are necessitated because
budget deficits, Others are necessary to cover unencumbered
balances, Still others are necessary in order to finish up uncom-
ple to d work,
These recommended transfers are detailed on a sheet
attached hereto,
The concurrence of the Saint Paul City Council and t
Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey County is respectfully
requested. I should be pleased to meet with either body in o
