Emergency calls for sewer maintenance (April 1967) Removing snow from city streets and sanding icy streets Tending fire at Asphalt Plant on Sundays and holidays Emergency garbage pickup Taking care of complaints at city yards Drawing plans and specifications for grading and paving jobs Mimeographing grade profiles and revising house numbers Servicing municipal equipment Making up sidewalk assessments Inspecting city improvement jobs Overseeing inmates at workhouse farm Completing payroll work AND WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts d circumstances: Necessity of answering all emergency repair calls, keeping cit streets free from ice and snow, keeping fires at Asphalt Plant continuously picking up :. . garbage, taking complaints at city yards, completing plans and specification for grading and paving jobs, need for grade profiles and house numbers, completing sidewalk assessments, keeping city equipment in goo running condition, inspecting work done by contractors on street and s dewalk work, overseeing inmates at workhouse farm and completing payr 11 work.
