RESOLVED, that the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contracts for furnishing and delivering Dis Type Cold
Water Meters to the City of St. Paul Water Meter Shop, 289 North Hamlin Avenue,
St. Paul, Minnesota, as follows:
To: BADGER METER MANUFACTURING COMPANY
1000 - 3/4" Disc Type Cold Water Meters @ $37.55 each
making total amount of contract $37,550.00
To: NEPTUNE METER COMPANY
250 - 1" Disc Type Cold Water Meters @ $55.44 each
making total amount of contract $13,860.00
(Board of Water Commissioners reserving the option of increasing orders not to
exceed 207.). such bids being the lowest meeting specifications and said companies
being the lowest reasonable and reliable bidders and the Corporation Coinsel be
and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contracts therefor land the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contracts on behalf of
the City of St. Paul.
