RESOLVED, upon the pertinent recommendation of the
Corporation Counsel and Valuation Engineer, the subject award of
damages being now covered by an appeal therefrom to the District
Court, and it being proper and in the public interest that such
disposition be made of the same, the Corporation Counsel hereby
is authorized to execute in the name of the City of Saint Paul
the presently proposed stipulation in that pending eminent domain
case in District Court in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota,
File No. 295-137, "State of Minnesota and City of Saint Paul,
Petitioners, vs. Joseph Pearlman et al, Respondents", for the
increase of the award of damages for the condemnation and taking
in and by said proceeding of the real estate therein designated
as Parcel 114 from the sum of $229,000 to the sum of $234,000,
without interest thereon, and containing other provisions for
the continued occupancy of said premises by the appellants
S. Paul Johnson and Tillie Johnson as prior owners of the same,
until September 30, 19S7, without charge, which proposed
stipulation shall also be signed in the name and behalf of
State of Minnesota by its Attorney General and Secretary of
Veterans Service Building Commission, and by Messrs. Stacker
and Stacker as attorneys for said appellants.
