RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby endorses State legislation to provide that any person
who heretofore has been a member of the police pension
association in the City of Saint Paul, and was heretofore
appointed as a Deputy Commissioner of the City of Saint
Paul, shall continue to be considered a member of said
Police Department in so far as the years which he served
as Deputy Commissioner shall be credited to him as a member
of said police association and police force in the same
manner as if he, at all times, were an active policeman on
the police force of said City, and an active member of such
police pension association.
