In the Matter of constructing a sewer in Burr Street from 147 feet south of Arlington
Avenue to 25 feet north of Ivy Avenue; in Cottage Avenue from Burr Street to De Soto
Street; in De Soto Street from Cottage Avenue to 300 feet south of Arlington Avenue;
from De Soto Street to Arkwright Street in a 20 foot easement (to be obtained), the
center line of said easement being described as being parallel to and 300 feet south of
the south property line of Arlington Avenue and said easement extending from De Soto
Street to Arkwright Street; in Arkwright Street from 300 feet south of Arlington Avenue
to Cottage Avenue, and in Cottage Avenue from Arkwright Street to Edgemont Street - all
of which is to be known as the COTTAGE-BURR SEWER SYSTEM,
under Preliminary Order 178918 approved July 242 1956
Intermediary Order approved
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is construct a sewer in Burr Street from 147 feet south
of Arlington Avenue to 25 feet north of Ivy Avenue; in Cottage Avenue from Burr Street
to De Soto Street; in ll Soto Street from Cottage Avenue to 300 feet south of Arlington
Avenue; from De Soto Street to Arkwright Street in a 20 foot easement (to be obtained),
the center line of said easement being described as being parallel to and 300 feet south
of the south property line of Arlington Avenue and said easement extending from De Soto
Street to Arkwright Street; in Arkwright Street from 300 feet south of Arlington Avenue
to Cottage Avenue, and in Cottage Avenue from Arkwright Street to Edgemont Street - all
of which is to be known as the COTTAGE-BURR SEWER SYSTEM,
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
__ need with the making of said improvve�1m�e 1 in 1keldance therewith.
