WHEREAS, On December 2, 1955, the City of Saint Paul entered
into an agreement with the Minnesota State Highway Department, Agree-
ment Me. C-1530, to wake soundings and drillings at the proposed bridge
sites to determine foundation conditions, and to wake necessary engineer-
ing surveys, studies and compilation of data required , and to prepare
preliminary plans for the proposed national system of interstate highways,
in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00, said sum to be reimbursed by the
Minnesota State Highway Department upon presentation of invoices for work
done l or
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is
hereby authorized and directed to perform the work above mentioned, same
to be chargeable to P.I.R. Fund Cede 3001, and the same to be reimbursed
by the Minneseta State Highway Department under their Agreement Mo. C-1530,
City Comptroller's File No. 671.
