INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of opening, widening and extending the South 1/2 of E. Geranium Ave.
from the center line of Herbert St. to the extended west property line of Herbert St.
by taking and condemning the north 30 ft. of the east 30 ft. of the West 1/2 of the
SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 27, Township 29, Range 22,
under Preliminary Order 181150 approved January 22, 1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is open, widen and extend
the South 1/2 of E. Geranium Ave. from the center line of Herbert St. to the extended
west property line of Herbert St. by taking and condemning the north 30 ft. of the east
30 ft. of the West 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 27, Township
29, Range 22,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 100.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 12th day of
March , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
