In the Matter of changing the grade of the Easterly North-and-South alley in Welshons'
Place, from Roblyn Ave. to St. Anthony Ave. to conform to the grade as shown on the pro-
file on file in the Department of Public Works.
Also grading and surfacing with bituminous material the Easterly North-and-South alley in
Welshons' Place, from Roblyn Ave. to St. Anthony Ave. to the proposed change of grade.
Also constructing a storm sewer in the alley from a point 60 ft. north of Roblyn Ave.
to the existing sewer in Roblyn Ave.,
under Preliminary Order 181025 approved January 9, 1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is change the grade of the
Easterly North-and-South alley in Welshons' Place, from Roblyn Ave. to St. Anthony Ave.
to conform to the grade as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works.
Also grade and surface with bituminous material the Easterly North-and-South alley in
Welshons' Place, from Roblyn Ave. to St. Anthony Ave. to the proposed change of grade.
Also construct a storm sewer in the alley from a point 60 ft. north of Roblyn Ave. to
the existing sewer in Roblyn Ave.,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 2,820.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 12th day of
March , 19J1_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
