Y � �1955,COMMISSIONER ���� DATE WHEREAS , George Schmidt, an employe of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Fire, 'bn April 30, 1955, sustained an injury during the course df his employment, resulting in a disability to perform his duties between May 2, 1955, and flay 24, 1955, and _in- curred certain medical bills in conne5tion with the aforesaid disability which the City recognized as a liability against it and paid; and WHEREAS said George Schmidt was again dis- abled and was unable to perform his duties for a period from November 3, 1955, to January 3, 1956, because of an alleged recurrence of the injury sustained on April 30, 1955, and that he incurred certain medical expenses by reason of such disability; and WHEREAS , The City disputes that the second disability is causally connected with his employment ; and WHEREAS , it is deemed mutually advantageous to dispose of this case by settlement , now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That pursuant to Stipulation entered into between the City and George Schmidt, and the Award of the Industrial Commission dated February 5, 1957, there be paid from the Workmen's Compensation Account of the General Fund the following bills incurred by said employe for medical attention as a result of said dis- ability, in full settlement of the claim of said George Schmidt , arising out of his alleged injury: Dr. D. M.
