6 WHEREAS, in accordance w8h City ordinance, Mayor Coleman presented to the City Council on August 19, 2009 the Library Agencys
� proposed budget, with said recommended budgets totaling $18,382,01 t, and

9 WHEREAS, tfie Mayor has taken into consideration fevy limits imposed by the State of Minnesota and witl repoR on the use of special
io levies and adherence to levy limits in accordance wi[h State law; and
i2 WHEREAS, the Mayor did recommend, as part of the comprehensive 2010 finanCing plan for the City of Saint Paul, that the 2009 net
i3 property ta�c levy payable in 2010 be $94,609,521 as detailed below:

NOW, TFIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 275.065 Subdivision 1, the City Council, after
considering the Mayor's recommendations, but absent public hearings on the Mayor's budget proposal, does hereby accept the budgets
for fiscal year 2010, as proposed by the Mayor, as constituting the proposed budgeis for the City ot Saint Paul and the Saint Paul Library
Agency; and be it
FURTHER AESOLVED, that in accordance wiih the same referenced statute, ihe City Council, as a taxing authority, and after considering
the Mayor's recommendation for property tau levies, including the requests of the Port Authority and the Library Agency, does hereby
certify to the Ramsey County Auditor that the propased masimum tax levy for the Ciry of Sa+nt Paul for taues payable in 2010 (for use
in calculating the Truth-In-Ta�cation notices to be mailed in November of 2009) as:
