PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVEMENT

Whereas, A written proposal for the
making of the following improvement,
viz.:
and Improving Lafond Avenue from Como
Avenue to Rice Street by removing the

PRELIMINARY ORDER.
The undersigned hereby proposesthemakingofthefollowingpublicimprovement by the City of Saint Paul,viz.:
Improving Lafond Avenue from Como Avenue to Rice Street by removing the existing
asphalt surfacing and concrete base where necessary and surfacing the existing
concrete base where left in place with asphaltic concrete; by constructing new
concrete base with asphaltic concrete surfacing where the existing pavement is
removed; by grading and paving the widened roadway with concrete base and asphaltic
concrete surfacing; by grading and paving driveway returns; by constructing new
curbs and sidewalks where necessary; by constructing sewer, water and gas service
connections from the street mains to the property lines where necessary; by recon-
structing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on the intersecting streets where not
in conformity with said improvement and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to said improvement.
WHEREAS, A written proposal for the making of the following improvement, viz.:

4. To state whether or not said improvement is asked for on the petition of three or more owners.
5. To report upon all of the foregoing matters to the Commissioner of Finance.
