Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of Harold Yench for per-
mit to construct an over-size driveway on the property adjacent to
the northwest corner of Arundel and Fuller. This property is des-
cribed as lot 30 - block 5 - Mackubin & Marshall's Addition. The
zoning is 11B11 residence.
. The applicant has constructed a three-car garage on the site which
is attached to three lots to the north fronting on Aurora which are
developed with homes. In order to provide access to this garage
from Arundel, a driveway some 35' in width measured at the property
line is necessary.
Field invesitation discloses no objection to this driveway from the
standpoint of traffic. In view of the fact that the Building Depart-
ment has ruled that this garage is a permitted use at this point,
the Zoning Board feels that the owner of the property is entitled to
proper access to this garage consistent with public safety.
In consideration of these factors the Zoning Board recommends that
this permit be granted.
