Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the Pure Oil
Company for a permit to enlarge and expand an existing
filling station located adjacent to the northeast^ corner
of Rice and ;Maryland. The property under consideration is
described as: lots 9, 10, 11 - block 1 - Kranz's Division
of lots 8, 9, 10, 11 of Rice Street Garden Lots. The
zoning is "commercial."
Briefly, the applicants propose to tear down an existing
garage which occupies a portion of this site and utilize
the added space for filling station purposes. Field in-
vestigation discloses no objection if plans approved January
24, 1957 are followed.
In consideration of these factors, the zoning Board recommends
that this permit be granted in accordance with the approved
p/Sns.
