RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering 25,000 linear feet of
3/4`r and 15,000 linear feet of 1" type "k" soft seamless copper tubing in 60 ft. lengths
to the Water Department storeyard, f.o.b. Hamline and Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota,
via C. M. ST. P. & P. Railway to AMSTAN SUPPLY DIVISION in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6216 of said Amstan Supply Division at a
total contract price of $17,140.00 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to
increase any individual item of the materials of the contracts by an amount not to exceed
10% of the quantities indicated for that item), such bid being the lowest and said
Amstan Supply Division, being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation
Counsel be, and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor
and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf
