1 WHEREAS, Josfens wishes to donate 34 refurbished computers to the Saint Paul Department of Parks and
2 Recseation for use m computers labs at several reciearion centers, and

4 WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation has a need for computers for computer labs at recreation centers; now, therefore,

7 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul accepts the donation and appropriates it to the use for which

Jostens wishes to donate refurbished computers to the Ciry to be used at recreation centers, to enable youth increased access to
technology.
Advantages If Approved:
Computer access will be increased for the youth of Saint Paul at recreation centers, particularly in lower income neighborhoods.
Disadvantages If Approved:
none
Disadvantages if Not Approved:
There is no funding for computers for computer labs and therefore less access for youth.
