COUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums, & Stadia
has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter,
the existence of an emergency during the period from June 1
to June 15, 1957, which rendered necessary the employment of
certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium,
Museums, & Stadia for more than eight hours per day or forty hours
per week in doing the following work:
Necessary for maintenance and operation of parking
at Municipal Stadium.
And, WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts
and circumstances:
Could not be handled by untrained personnel.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are hereby
authorized to pay the employees shown on the attached list, who
performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the
Council's salary ordinance, No. 6446.
