This property is described as lot 1 and the east 13' of lot 2, block 5 of Hillcrest center addition, Ramsey County. Since the initiation of this request was made, there has been a serious revision in my intention of further use of this property. It is the purpose of this letter to petition the council for permission to exceed the present "set back" requirement by six feet three and one half inches. In other words re-establish the set back line from twenty four feet nine and one half inches to eighteen feet six and one half inches. The home is constructed in such a manner that it would be highly impracticable to extend the house in any other direction other than the one I have shown. The space provided will be used for much needed living space for my family of five. The addition will be constructed in such a manner as to lend value and appearance to the home and neighborhood. If there is any information you require which I have not included, let me know.
