WHEREAS, the Otto Bremer Foundarion has offered a grant of $10,000.00 to the Saint Paul Fue Department in support of ihe
Saint Paul EMS Academy, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fue Department would like to accept this grant from the Otto SLemex Foundarion, and
WHEREAS, the public puipose of the Saint Pau] EMS Academy is to give 40 participants that live in Ramsey County the
opportunity to prepare for careers m fire and/or EMS service, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept ihis
grant of $1 Q000.00 from the Otto Bremer Foundarion and extend their sincere appreciation to [his organization.
