This property is described as lots 14 and 15 - block 2 - Michaels Sub. of block 5, Stinson's Addition. The zoning is "Commercial ." The property as presently used is the site for a residential home which is in very poor condition and a vacated filling station. Both of these structures will be removed to make room for a customer parking lot for patrons of the liquor establishment adjacent . The proposed lot has a frontage of 129' on Dale and a parking frontage of 72.4' on Lafond. It will have a capacity of 13 cars. The adjacent land uses are as follows: there are single-family homes to the east: a grocery store and single-family homes across Lafond to the north. There is a funeral home across Dale to the west: a filling station diagonally across Dale. There is a drive-in refreshment stand across the alley to the south: there are retail stores diagonally across the alley to the south on the west side of Dale. Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic. The applicant's plans meet existing standards as to lay-out and design. In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends this permit be granted in accordance with the plans approved May 2, 1957 .
