RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and tools,
excepting only finish coat enamel furnished by the City, to paint metal lighting standards,
Sections II and VII of specifications to A. SHELGREN & SON, INC. in accordance with City
specifications therefor hereto attached, at a contract price of $13,695.15 (Unit Prices bid
to be used for adjustment in the event of discrepancies between the number of standards
listed in the specification and the actual number to be painted) such bid being the lowest
and said A. Shelgren & Son, Inc. being a reliable and reasonable bidder and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City Officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
