allowed under contract number G-662 between the City
of Saint Paul and the M. E . Souther Construction Company,
said contract for Remodeling of the Fifth Floor of the
City Hall and Court House, and said extra to cover the
addition of conduit and outlets in Room 522, this work
having been requested by the Education Department and
agreement made with the Contractor and a memorandum
of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-662 was awarded to the M. E. Souther
Construction Company for Remodeling of the Fifth Floor of the
City Hall and Court House, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under the contract, it was
found necessary to have installed additional conduit and outlets
in Room 522, and at the request of the Education Department,
negotiations have been conducted with the Contractor who agrees
to do this additional work for the sum of $65.00 which is a
reasonable amount for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing an extra to contract number G-662,
said extra in the amount of $65.00 and to cover the above
described work .
