WIIEREAS, the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities and

WFIEREAS, Erin Dady is the Director of Mazketing and Convention Planning for the City of
Saint Paul; and
WIIEREAS, the 2009 annual conference of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities was
held in Brainerd, Minnesota at the Cragun's Resort from July 30 to July 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities has offered to provide one-night's lodging and
meals with a value of $170.00 so as to enable Ms. Dady to attend and participate in the conference;
and
WHEREAS, the conference provided an opportunity for Ms. Dady to publicly address the
conference attendees and to promote the cultural, sociai, educational and business amenities of
the City of Saint Paui.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the above-
described gift of $170.00 made by Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities so as to enable Ms.
Dady to attend and participate in the 2009 annual membership meeting; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council finds that the above-described gift is
supported by the public purpose of promote the cultural, social, educational and business
amenities of the City of Saint Paul.
