The undersiened hereby proposes the making of the following public improvement by the City of Saint Paul, viz.: Partially opening, widening and extending the proposed Shepard Road by condemning and taking an easement for hi.:: hway purposes on and across the following described tracts of land in Government Lot 4, Section 12,Township 28 North, Range 23 nest, Fourth Principal Meridian, and Lots 7 and 8, Auditor's Sub No.45, extending from the east line of said Lot 4 to the north- easterly line of Stewart Avenue Addition, lying within a strip of land 100 ft. in width, except that part lying inside the existing fence, northerly of the 4°0' curve to the right and except Drake Street, the center line of said 100 ft. strip being described as follows: Commencing,for the purpose of establishing the point of beginning, at the northeast corner of the said Government Lot 4; thence south on the east line of the aforesaid lot a distance of 568.50 ft. to the true point of beginning; thence in a southwesterly direction on a straight line making an angle to the right of 31°23' a distance of 400.90 ft.; thence on the arc of a 4°0' curve to the right, the central angle of which is 39050' 50", a distance of 996.18 ft.; thence on a tangent to the last described curve a distance of 95.86 ft.; thence on the arc of a 300' curve to the left, the central angle of which is 16001' 10", for a distance of 533.98 ft.; thence on a tangent to the last described curve to its intersection with the northeasterly line of Stewart Avenue Addition. Also by condemning and taking, an easeent fcr highway purposes on and across a strip of land 50 ft. wide in Government Lot 4, Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 23 West, lying southerly of and adjacent to the southerly line of the above described 100 ft. strip of land and extending from the easterly line of said Government Lot 4 to a radial line at right angles to the said southerly line 1030 ft. southwesterly of the intersection of the aforesaid southerly line with the easterly line of Government Lot 4, measured along the southerly line of the above described 100 ft. wide strip of land. Also by condemning and taking an easement for highway purposes on and across a strip of land 30 ft. wide in Government Lot 4, Section 12, Township 23 North, Range 23 West, and Lots 7 and 8, Auditor's Sub No.45, except Drake Street, lying southerly of and adjacent to the southerly line of the above described 100 ft. strip of land and extending from a radial line at right angles to the above southerly line at a point 1030 ft. southwesterly of its intersection with the easterly line of Government Lot 4; thence southwesterly and westerly to the northeasterly line of Stewart Avenue Addition. Also condemning anditaking an easement in the land necessary for slopes, cuts and fills in the grading and paving of the proposed Shepard Road in Government Lot 4, Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 23 West, Fourth Principal Meridian, and Lots 7 and 8, Auditor's Sub No.45,between the east line of said Lot 4 and the northeasterly line of Stewart Avenue Addition to the grade as shown in the profile on file in the Department of Public Works.
