L�/� _ DATE J3, 1957 — Fp v•,. 183140—By Frank D. — m .r n Comp- .. �;.. inet° '3''r WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L»5?37 for installation of new ornamental lights on building fronts along St. Peter St. from Kellogg Blvd. to Tenth St. and on Vvest side of Market St. from Sixth St. to Seventh St. , Commonwealth Electric Co. , Contractor, the specified date of completion was April 30, 1957, and WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, but due to delay in repairing the sidewalks at the location of the old lighting standards, it was not possible to complete the contract by said date of completion therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said Contract extending the time of completion to May 30, 1957, provided, however, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged by the City on accountof such extended period.
