An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7607, entitled:
"An ordinance fixing the duties and responsi-
bilities and the minimum qualifications for the various
classes of positions in the Classified Service of the City, "
approved February 13, 1935, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13,
1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by
inserting in its proper alphabetical order the following specification
for

PUBLIC SAFETY REPAIR SHOP
Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision, to be responsible for the clerical work involved
in the purchase of supplies and equipment, the payment of salaries,
expenses and bills, and the keeping of all financial records at the
Public Safety Repair Shop; and to perform related work as assigned.
Examples of work performed:
To check delivery slips against invoices, and to make up requisitions
=� for payment.
To keep time records and prepare payroll.
To keep records on tire and vehicle mileage, and gas and oil
consumption on all Public Safety vehicles.
To keep insurance records on vehicles and buildings.
To maintain record of gasoline deliveries and to prepare schedule
of tax exempt gas used in Fire Department apparatus.
To maintain records on impounded vehicles.
To maintain inventory of supplies.
Minimum qualifications:
High school graduation and seven years clerical experience, at least
two years of which shall have been as a senior clerk.
