In the matter of paving and improving Lafond Avenue between
Como Avenue and Rice Street, under Final Order C. F. 182902, approved
May 21, 1957, it is necessary, in advance of the paving, to remove
trees and masonry wall and steps, and excavate an embankment, so as
to give access to the street for abutting property and to fill a
basement from which the building has been moved, this work to be done
in advance of the regular paving contract; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is
herein authorized and instructed to proceed with the aforesaid work,
said work to be done with City forces and equipment, at an estimated
cost of $2800.00, same to be charged to Bond Fund 200, Project No.
ST-22.
