RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized with the
consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase Order to PARK
MACHINE, INC. for Reboring motor, installing new pistons, rings and pins,
grinding crankshaft, and fitting new bearing and rod inserts for Sweeper #805
at a cost of $245.18, without advertisement or competitive bids as an emergency
existed where failure to act promptly would work hardship to the best interests
