Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
changing the grade of Jessamine Avenue from Dale Street to a point 500 ft. west of
Dale Street to conform to the grade as shown on the profile on file in the Dept. of
Public Works. Also grading Jessamine Avenue from Dale Street to Como Avenue to the
proposed change of grade where changed, and Grotto Street from Jessamine Avenue to the
north line of Block 1, Como Park 3rd Addition,
under Preliminary Order 171254 , approved December 15, 19514.
Intermediary Order 171827 , approved February 1, 1955
Final Order 172109 , approved March 1, 1955
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 15th
day of May , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
