Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
changing the grade of Tuscarora Ave. from Chatsworth St. to Pleasant Ave. and on
Pleasant Ave. from Bayard Ave. to Watson Ave. to conform to the grade as shown on the
profiles on file in the Dept. of Public Works. Also grading Tuscarora Ave. from
Chatsworth St. to Pleasant Ave. to the proposed change of grade,
under Preliminary Order 170629 , approved— October 22, 1954
Intermediary Order 171213 , approved— December 14, 1954
Final Order 1715014 , approved January 11, 1955
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 8th
day of May , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
