PRELIMINARY ORDER.
The undersigned hereby proposes the making of the following public improvement by the City of Saint Paul, viz.:
Condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a public
sewer on, under and across the southerly 2_ft. of-tot--5, and--the northerly 2--ft. of- Lot 6,
Block__231_-_Frankson!a__Como__P_ark_ Add.itionm_A sbury___St.__tto___the__alley___in the rear of said lots.
Also condemning and taking a temporary easement for construction purposes on a strip of land
8 ft-.--in--width---on--tthe--rrortih-sid e--of--tlre--above---easement, and--a--strip--sf---iand--8---ft-i--in--width on
the south side of the above permanent easement, from Asbury St. to the alley in Block 23,

having been presented to the Council of the City of Saint Paul
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby ordered and directed:
1. To investigate the necessity for, or desirability of, the making of said improvement.
2. To investigate the nature, extent and estimated cost of said improvement, and the total cost thereof.
3. To furnish a plan, profile or sketch of said improvement.
4. To state whether or not said improvement is asked for on the petition of three or more owners.
5. To report upon all of the foregoing matters to the Commissioner of Finance.
