RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing approximately 15,000 dozen
Cheerios, Popsicles and Novelties and approximately 2000 gallons Ice Cream in 5-gallon
Freezers to various City parks during the year 1957 to MAYS INC. in accordance with City
specifications and the Formal Bid #6275 of said Mays Inc. for the contract price of
approximately $11,550.00, such bid being the lowest and Mays Inc. being the lowest
reliable and reasonable bidder, and the Ccrporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
