• In th- matter of grading Vard.lia treet from the south line of Martin
Cappts Addition to Capp Road, und- Preliminary Order 182544 approved April 30,
1957, and Final Order No.183309 aki. eved June 18, 1957, and in the matter of
constructing a sewer in Vandalia St. from the terminus of the existing sewer
approximately 209 ft. north of Territorial Road to 650 ft. north of the south
line of Martin Cappts Addition, under Preliminary Order 182003 approved March
ii., 1957, and Final Order No.183308 approved June 18, 1957.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specification as submitted for the above
improvement, be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public
Works, be and he is hereby directed to place the gravel and oiling by City Forces
at an estimated cost of $6,324.00, and the Purchasing Agent proceed to secure
the necessary materials, and be it
FURTHER RESOLUD, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed to
obtain bids for the improvement, the bids to show separately the amount for the
grading work(except the work to be done by City Forces) and the amount for the
sewer work, and the total to be considered as bids for the entire improvement,
and be it
FURTHER RESOLViFL, That the cost of the above improvement including Engineering
and Inspection expenses amounting to $831.00, or a total of $7155.00, plus the
cost of grading and ser>'er, be assessed against the benefitted property.
