PAUL, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, in accordance with his duties set forth by the Code of Ordinances for the City of
Saint Paul, Mayor Chris Coleman shall present the 2010 budget and budget message for the
City of Saint Paul at 12:00 P.M. on August 11, 2009 at Cray Plaza in downtown Saint Paul;
and
WHEREAS, NEA Galtier, LLC, the property manager for Galtier Plaza has offered to make
available the use of its atrium to accommodate the members of the public who wish to attend
this public event and to also furnish such items as a lectem, platform, seats and sound system
and related services necessary to facilitate this event, the value ofwhich is $1,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Lo To, a restaurant located in Galtier Plaza has also offered to provide snacks
and beverages to the members of the public who wish to attend this public event, the value of
which is $1,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the above-
described gifrs of the NEA Galtier, LLC and Lo To Restaurant; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council finds the above-described gifts are
supported by a public purpose of facilitating the Mayor's public presentation of the City's
2010 budget and budget message to the residents and businesses of Saint Paul; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT F`INALLY RESOLVED, the City Council hereby appropriates
the above-described gifts to the City for the public purpose of facilitating the above-described
event.
