Whereas. The sum of One Thousand
WHEREAS, The sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000. 00) has been appro-
priated and placed in Playgrounds Fund 19-B-5 of the City of Saint Paul, for
expenditures at various public parks in and as part of the 1957 Public Fourth of
July Observance and Celebration by the City of Saint Paul, therefore, be it hereby
RESOLVED, That said sum appropriated and available therefor, said
sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) be paid from said Fund accordingly to
John C. Devlin, as General Chairman of the St. Paul Fourth of July Committee,
for expenditure in the purchase of fireworks, prizes, etc. , at the cost and amount
as decided upon by the Saint Paul Fourth of July Committee for each of the following
committees at the Public Park designated, viz: East Side and Bluff Committee at
Phalen Park, Highland and West End Committee at Highland Park, Riverview
Committee at Cherokee Park, North End Committee at Sucker Lake Park and
North St. Anthony Committee at Langford Park, for and as part of such Public
Fourth of July 1957 Observance and Celebration, and subject to such report thereon
as the City Comptroller shall direct.
