RESOLVED, That the Council h; , e. approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Bureau of Municipal Equip-
ment, 891 North Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, One 1957 Ford C-750 Platform Truck with
551 Woodside Loader and Braden M9 12A 6K Winch (Body and A-frame to be transferred from
City Truck No. 66) to EAST SIDE MOTOR SALES, in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6424 of said East Side Motor Sales at a cost of
$10,125.00, less allowance of $52.00 for one 1932 Diamond T Truck Chassis, including
Sasgen Hand Derrick and Meade Winch Model 316, Serial 98020, City No. 66 to be traded in,
making total contract price of $10,073.00, such bid being the lowest and said East Side
Motor Sales being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be, and
hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
