(vacated) to Montana Ave. in a 20 ft. wide easement (to be obtained), the center line
of said easement (to be obtained) being the center line of Park St. (vacated); in
Park St. from Montana Ave. to 1o6 ft. north of Iowa Ave .; in Montana Ave. from Park
St. to Sylvan St.; in Hoyt Ave. from 335 ft. west of Par:. St. to 455 ft. east of
Park St.; and in Iowa Ave. from 335 ft. west of Park St. to 415 ft. east of Park St.
-- all of which is to be known as the PARK-IOWA SEWER SYSTEM,
under Preliminary Order 182497 approved April 25, 1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is construct a sewer
from the existing sewer in Nebraska Ave. (vacated) to Montana Ave. in a 20 ft. wide
easement (to be obtained), the center line of said easement (to be obtained) being
the center line of Park St. (vacated); in Park St. from Montana Ave. to 166 ft. north
of Iowa Ave.; in Montana Ave. from Park St. to Sylvan St.; in Hoyt Ave. from 335 ft.
west of Park St. to 455 ft. east of Park St.; and in Iowa Ave. from 335 ft. west of
Park St. to 415 ft. east of Park St. -- all of which is to be known as the PARK-IOWA
SEWER SYSTEM,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 19,74b.50
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 24th day of
July , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
