RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Bureau of Municipal Equip-
ment, 891 North Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, One International RF-195A Tandem drive
Truck Tractor to INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COMPANY, in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6384 of said International Harvester Company
at a cost of $7,707.58, less allowance of $335.00 for one 1949 model 29M2 Federal Stake
truck (City No. 160) Serial No. 148400, making total contract price of $7,372.58, such
bid being the lowest and said International Harvester Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
