THE AWARD OF DAMAGES
In the matter of partia,,llyQpeningx widening_And e4tendiAg__iaUdg h__Ay rIug-. M__ShQpard
Road, as proposed to be opened, to the west line of Lot 71, Block 28, Subdivision of
Blocks 28 and 29 in Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul by condemning and
taking the following described parcels of land:
The south 13 ft. of Lots 71 and 70, Block 28, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29 in
Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul, and those parts of Lots 69, 68 and 66
of said Block 28 lying between the northerly line of those parts of said lots as opened
under Preliminary Order C.F. 168331 approved May 6, 1954, Intermediary Order C.F. 174319
approved July 26, 1955 and Final Order C.F. 174715 approved August 23, 1955 and a line
which is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of Lot 69, Block 28,
Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29, Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul, that
is 13 ft. north of the southwest corner of said lot; thence in a straight line to the
southwesterly corner of Lot 60, Block 28, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29 in Stinson,
Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul,
under Preliminary Order 18D814 , approved December 19: 1956
Intermediary Order._ 181979 , approved March 19, 1957
Final Order 18230 , approved April 16, 1957
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount of
damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above improvement
and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property from the making
of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a confirma-
tion of the awards of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said assessment of
benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the 26th day
of June , 19 57 , at ten o'clock A. M., and that the Commissioner of Finance
be and he is hereby directed to give notice of said bearing as prescribed by the Charter.
