In the Matter of condemning and taking for Public School purposes Lots 40, 41 and 42,
excepting the easterly 145 ft. of Lot 42 in the plat of the Pioneer Real Estate and
Building Society Subdivision of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4, Section 22,
Township 29, Range 22,
under Preliminary Order 181663 approved February 26, 1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is condemn and take for
Public School purposes Lots 40, 41 and 42, excepting the easterly 145 ft. of Lot 42
in the plat of the Pioneer Real Estate and Building Society Subdivision of the North
1/2 of the Northwest 1/4, Section 22, Township 29, Range 22,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 25,000.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 25th day of
June , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
