RESOLVED, that the two-story brick and frame duplex
and garage on Lot 4, Block 179, Robertson 's Addition to
West St. Paul, according to the plat thereof recorded in the
office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota ,
also described as No. 20 East Indiana Avenue, in Saint Paul,
were and are, by reason of their structural condition,
unsafe and dangerous to life, limb and adjoining property;
that said structure,(are incapable of reasonable repair,
replacement or remodeling so as to make the same reasonably
safe , and should be wrecked and removed from said land, and
it is ordered that said structures be forthwith wrecked and
removed from said land by and at the separate cost and expense
of the owner, occupant, or other person in control thereof.

Gentlemen:
In Re: Council File # 182968, Order of May 22,2957, Relating to
Wrecking and Removal of Duplex on Lot L., Block 179, Robertson' s
Addition to West St,Paul.
Please be advised that Iam purchasing the above Lot 14., Block 179,
Robertson' s Addition to West St,Paul, known as 20 East Indiana Av. ,
St.Paul,Mirinesota, from the William Sachs, Wzrd,Guardianship, the owner
thereof ;, and that it is my purpose and I hereby agree to put the present
frame duplex and the frame garage on said premises is a structurally
safe condition, and towards that purpose have obtained an estimate
from A.Bredy, a building modernizing and improvement contractor for
replacing 12 sash, close one door opening, and four transoms, removal
of the wainscoting of the downstairs kitchen, and covering of all ceil-
ings and walls of the first and second floors of said duplex with 3/8
inch sheet rock, for the sum of $1360.00.
Further,Iam going to cause two new toilets, two new kitchen sinks,and all
new eleLtrie fixtures to to put in mid duplex.
That I expect to have said improvements installed and connected within
Sixty Days from the date oftthis letter provided Ia given such time within
U to make make said improvements;, and therefor ask that said City Council gx:
