Resolved, By the Council of the City
of Saint Paul, that said Council, in its
own behalf and in behalf of said City
of Saint T'^""l ar
RESOLVED, by the Council of the Cityof Saint Paul, that said
Council, in its own behalf and in behalf of said City of Saint Paul and
its people, hereby, shall be deemed to have taken and recorded official
cognizance of the nationally significant award, by the National Catholic
Family Life Conference, to Florence Nichel Kueppers, wife of distinguished
member of Minnesota Bar, Fred A. Kueppers, mother of the ten children born
as issue of their marriage, native and constant resident of said City of
Saint Paul, of the title, "National Catholic Mother of the Year", for the
year,A. D. 1957, in the midst of her extraoreinarly prominent, extensive,
meritorious, and successful career, of national scope, in the cause of God
and country, wherein her indefatigable efforts have been and are conti wing
to be zealously and effectively directed to the promotion of family,
religious, educational, social, and civic betterments calculated to the
greater security of the inalienable human rights, the promotion of justice,
the integrity of our constitutional form of government, and the advancement
of the common good;
RESOLVED FURTHER, by said Council, that attestation in permanent
form shall be deemed to have been given, hereby, to the aforesaid extraordinarily
extensive and meritorious career of said Florence Michel Kueppers, and of her
long demonstrated and recognized high caliber of devoted motherhood, spiritual
and educational development, and unselfish desire to serve humanity and
public and religious welfare,therein reflected, and that the commendations
and congratulations thereon be and hereby are extended by said Council in
its own behalf and in behalf of said City of Saint Paul and its people, to
said Florence Michel Kueppers and her family; and be it
FURTHFF RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and hereby is authorized
and directed to cause an engrossed copy d' this resolution to be prepared
and delivered to said Florence Michel Kueppers with all convenient speed.
